Welcome to Podunk

In the 1940's, Griswold "Grump" Steiner and his best friend, Lawrence "Lucky" Schmidt, were the pride of Podunk, Michigan. Living through the depression, WWII, the Swinging 60's, and right up to what Grump called the aughts, there wasn't much Grump and Lucky didn't either see or do. Their adventures...and misadventures...are chronicled at www.podunkmi.com. 

***Though Grump and Lucky are fictional characters, Podunk is a very real location in Gladwin County Michigan. Considered a ghost town, Podunk isn't much more than a cross roads with an old, boarded up school house on one corner. It does, however, offer the perfect name and backdrop for a pair of characters like Grump and Lucky. 

The Grump Chronicles are dedicated to my father and anyone who has ever stated "I grew up in a little Podunk town in (insert location)." when asked where they're  from. Aside from that, any similarity to any persons, living or deceased is unintentional...and completely bizarre!
